Magnetic separator equipment includes dry magnetic separator, wet magnetic separator and permanent magnetic drum magnetic separator equipment. It is widely used in mining machinery and is used in beneficiation, coal washing and chemical industries, among which wet magnetic separator can be selected. It is a ferromagnetic mineral with a particle size of 6-0 mm and classifies minerals into two types: magnetic and non-magnetic. There are three main aspects that affect the magnetic separation effect of magnetic separators:

 

    , Screen repair and replacement. The screen is made of sheet steel or iron sheet punching. When the screen is worn or damaged by foreign matter, if the damaged area is not large, it can be repaired by soldering or riveting; but if the large area is damaged, the new screen should be replaced. When installing the screens, the burr-side of the screen should be facing inwards, and the screen should be closely attached to the screen frame. When the ring screen is installed, its overlapping inner layer mouth should follow the direction of rotation to prevent the material from getting stuck at the overlap.

 

    Second, the replacement of claws and hammers. Grinding tooth jaws and hammers are the main parts that can affect the crushing quality and the production efficiency of the parts that are easily damaged in the crushing parts. If the crushing tooth and the hammer are found to have worn, they should be replaced in time. When replacing the teeth with a claw-type magnetic separator, pull out the disk first. Before pulling out, first open the round nut locking tab on the back of the disc, use a hook wrench to unscrew the round nut, and then use a special puller to pull the disc out. In order to ensure the balance of the rotor's operation, the replacement of the teeth should be completed as much as possible, and a static balance test should be done after the change to ensure the stable operation of the magnetic separator. When tightening the claws, be sure to tighten the nuts and be careful not to miss the spring washers. The qualified parts should be selected when replacing the teeth, and the difference between the weights of the individual teeth should not exceed 1.0-1.5 grams .

 

    Third, the lubrication and replacement of bearings. After every 300 hours of operation of the magnetic separator , the bearings should be cleaned. If the bearing is lubricated with oil, it is advisable to fill the clearance of the bearing seat by 1/3 when adding the new oil . The number should not exceed 1/2 , and only the cover oil cup cover can be tightened slightly before operation. When the magnetic separator bearing is seriously worn or damaged, it should be replaced promptly, and pay attention to strengthen the lubrication; use tapered roller bearings, should pay attention to check the axial spacing of the bearing, to maintain it as 0.2-0.4 mm, if still not suitable, can be passed Increase or decrease the bearing pad at the paper pad to adjust.

 

    The maintenance and operation of the machine are equally important. Without the usual careful inspection and maintenance, the machine can easily be scrapped in a short time. Therefore, frequent inspection of these vulnerable parts can greatly improve the service life of the magnetic separator and greatly improve the processing Equipment utilization and production efficiency.
