· Annual production of 10 million high-performance tire projects started in Jintan, Jiangsu

On the morning of June 15, 11 industrial and service projects with a total investment of 11.8 billion yuan were started at the same time in Jintan, Jiangsu Province, to promote the growth, innovation, transformation, and speed up the “second take the lead” step. Among them, there are 6 advanced equipment manufacturing and new materials projects, accounting for more than 90% of the total investment.

In recent years, Jintan has focused on creating new industrial clusters such as new energy, new materials and advanced equipment manufacturing, accelerating transformation and upgrading, and increasing industrial concentration. It has successively become China's first batch of new material industry demonstration bases, China's photovoltaic industry demonstration base, and the first batch of innovative pilot cities in Jiangsu Province.

The Zhongce Rubber (Jintan) tire project started today is invested by China Industrial Corporation, the top 200 manufacturing company in China and the number one in the tire industry. The total investment of the project is 8 billion yuan. The first phase will invest 2.4 billion yuan to build a plant of 218,000 square meters. After the first phase of production, it will form an annual output of high-performance semi-steel cars, 10 million light-weight radial tires and 500,000 engineering tires. Production capacity, after the project is put into production, it is expected to form a sales scale of 20 billion yuan, becoming a model factory for product technology upgrade, comprehensive utilization of resources and application of environmental protection and energy saving technology.

Today's construction also includes an annual production capacity of 500 million pieces (sets) of high-performance automobile engines, gear transmission oil seals and brake system seals production lines, an annual output of 180,000 tons of energy-saving photovoltaic coated glass production lines, and domestic leading high-purity titanium manufacturing. It has advanced manufacturing projects with strong independent research and development capabilities, broad market prospects and leading position in the industry.
