Through consulting a large amount of information and combining the actual situation of replacing the water-saving toilet in Shanghai, he started by replacing the valve and, after unremitting efforts and experiments, invented the “water tank water saving valve”. Under the guidance of professionals from Ningbo Public Utilities Supervision Center, Min Songchang improved the product. The improved product overcomes the shortcomings of the old-fashioned 9-liter to 13-liter toilet bowl flushing, and it is easy to install and operate. , less investment, water saving up to 50%, more suitable for the transformation of the old residential toilet water saving. The product has been continuously improved and has so far applied for 4 national utility model patents, 3 of which have been authorized. At the same time, this product was awarded the invention innovation silver prize by the fifth invention innovation contest in Ningbo, and also included the “fourth batch of water-saving appliances promotion catalogue of Ningbo” and the “energy-saving technology (product) oriented directory of Ningbo City in 2010”. .

With the support of relevant departments, at present, nearly 20,000 households in Ningbo have used water tank water saving valves.
