In order to encourage the denitrification of enterprises, the Ministry of Environmental Protection will cooperate with relevant departments to formulate preferential price policies for denitrification. “Denitrification is one of the key directions of the “12th Five-Year†energy-saving and environmental protection industry investment.†A brokerage analyst told reporters that strict emission standards and preferential tariff policies will bring greater market opportunities for denitrification technologies and equipment manufacturers. According to UBS analysis, the capacity of the denitrification plant in the “Twelfth Five-year†thermal power plant is 130 billion yuan, of which the market capacity of low-nitrogen combustion systems is 40 billion. UBS expects that the emission limit of nitrogen oxides will be significantly reduced from 650-1100 mg/m3 in the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan†to 200 mg/m3 in the forthcoming air pollution emission standards. Zhang Lijun said that this year will implement large-scale denitrification renovation projects for existing power plants and dry-fired cement production lines. “As a result of implementation of preferential desulfurization price, the desulfurization unit gave a preferential price of 1.5 cents per kilowatt-hour, which promoted the large-scale construction of desulphurization devices for thermal power plants in the “11th Five-Year Plan†and the effect was very good. Denitrification also adopts a similar approach, but it also implements energy-saving and emission-reduction power generation scheduling, so that it can generate more power for desulphurization and denitrification devices and coal-fired power generating units with low coal consumption.â€
