When the oil level increases to a certain level, the engine fault indicator will light up. Continuous operation of the vehicle in the state may cause engine damage and pose a safety hazard.
For the information related to the recall, Netcom called the Dongfeng Honda Official 400 service hotline as a consumer and consulted. The other party said that it has received the manufacturer's recall notice, and the model recall will start on May 22, 2018. At the same time, you can also call the official customer service hotline and provide the frame number of the vehicle to confirm whether the vehicle is involved in the recall.
Netcom also consulted relevant authorized dealers to inquire about the implementation of the vehicle recall plan. Some customer service personnel said: For the recall announcement involving the model, we will implement it. Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the air conditioning control unit and upgrade the FI-ECU software for the vehicles within the scope of the recall, and replace the heat dissipation for the vehicle equipped with the CVT gearbox. The water pipe assembly and the TCU software are upgraded to suppress the increase of the oil level and eliminate potential safety hazards. When the recall is implemented, the engine oil and oil filter are replaced free of charge for the vehicle within the target range, and the engine cleaner is added.
Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. issued a statement on this recall, Dongfeng Honda will provide lifelong repair service for the main parts of the vehicle engine within the scope of the recall.
