Green environmental protection brings new opportunities to the instrument market

The Seventh National Environmental Protection Conference was held in Beijing on December 20th, 2011. The Ministry of Environmental Protection signed letters of responsibility for the total amount of major pollutants in the “Twelfth Five-year Plan” with local governments and some central enterprises. The "12th Five-Year Plan" of the National Environmental Protection announced by the Chinese government network on the same day indicated that the total environmental protection investment demand for the "12th Five-Year Plan" is about 3.4 trillion yuan. Among them, priority will be given to the implementation of 8 key environmental protection projects, and a number of environmental basic surveys and pilot demonstrations will be carried out. The investment demand is about 1.5 trillion yuan.

The plan proposes that, in terms of solid waste treatment, by 2015, the comprehensive utilization rate of industrial solid wastes will reach 72%, and the harmless treatment rate of urban domestic garbage will reach 80%. All counties have the harmless treatment capacity of domestic garbage. By 2015, the emission intensity of dioxins in key industries will be reduced by 10%. In terms of sewage treatment, by 2015, the city has added about 160,000 kilometers of urban sewage pipelines and added a daily sewage treatment capacity of 42 million tons, basically fulfilling the sewage treatment capacity of all counties and key established towns, and increasing the sewage treatment facilities' loading rate. To more than 80%, the urban sewage treatment rate reached 85%.

In the case of advocating green environmental protection, the instrument market will of course give a glimmer of light. The instruments used in environmental protection are mainly manifested in:

(I) Environmental Monitoring In early 2012, Beijing publicly invited the PM2.5 environmental detector. This tender is mainly aimed at the international market. It can be seen that the intensity of environmental monitoring has attracted the attention of the industry. Well, of course, there will be a good opportunity for the development of environmental monitoring instruments!

(B): The premise of the machinery industry manufacturing green environmental protection, not only to reduce carbon emissions, the most fundamental thing is to eliminate backward production capacity! Eliminating outdated production capacity, and only technological upgrading, can be a broad prospect for machinery manufacturing!
