According to foreign reports, ZF recently announced that it plans to merge the existing five departments into four departments from the beginning of 2011. The existing business will be reintegrated into the following four departments: Drive Technology, Chassis Technology, Commercial Vehicle Technology, and Industrial Technology. ZF CEO Hans-Georg Härter stated: “The previous organizational structure of ZF has been unable to adapt to the current customer needs. At present, the departments belonging to the same technical field belong to different business departments. This leads to a customer to negotiate with several ZF employees respectively. In order to sign a supply contract, this needs to be changed to make the customer more satisfied." ZF believes that after the reorganization, the organizational structure of ZF will be more effective, and continuous integration will bring about continuous growth in the future. ZF's product portfolio will not be affected.
