The investment subject of the project, Shanghai Biike Clean Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2009. It is jointly invested by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the world oil and gas giant British Petroleum Group to promote the development of non-oil path chemical products. According to the plan, the project construction period is 5 years. It is implemented in two phases. The first phase focuses on the construction of the main methanol-to-olefins project and downstream derivatives. The second phase of construction is equivalent to the first phase. After all the projects have been completed, they can produce 1.36 million tons of olefins per year, achieving an output value of 34 billion yuan.
