Recently, the Haikou Port infrared thermal imaging night vision monitoring system was completed ahead of schedule and successfully passed the acceptance. The completion of this system marks a comprehensive upgrade of Hainan Haikou Maritime Bureau's monitoring capability for Haikou Port. The system installed by Haikou Maritime Safety Bureau can passively receive the infrared heat radiation of the target itself, and it can work normally day or night. In the harsh weather conditions such as rain and fog, due to the long wavelength of infrared rays, the ability to penetrate rain and fog is high, and the system can still observe targets normally. After the system was put into use, the Haikou Maritime Safety Administration realized 24- hour all-weather video surveillance of the dynamics of the ship in Haikou Port, and the recognition distance of the ship reached 5,000 meters, effectively making up for the shortcomings of the existing monitoring methods and realizing the “post-event control†direction.
