On the morning of August 6, 2014, the three major centers of Dongfeng Nissan, including the Qichen Modeling Center, Dongfeng Nissan Advanced Engineering Technology Center and the Corporate University, formally laid the foundation. Dongfeng General Manager Zhu Fushou, Nissan Motor’s Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura, Huadu District Governor Lin Zhongjian, Dongfeng Nissan Passenger General Motors Co., Ltd. beat Vietnam Jin, Deputy General Manager Ren Yong, Party Secretary Zhou Xianpeng and other leaders and guests attended the ceremony.
According to Dongfeng Nissan, the total investment of the three foundations laid a foundation is about 500 million yuan and the area is about 86,000 square meters. The first phase of the main project will be completed in 2015. The three centers will be responsible for Dongfeng Nissan's product modeling design, engineering technology development and the cultivation of innovative talents. The completion of the three major centers will greatly increase the R&D strength of the front end of the Dongfeng Nissan value chain, and will also promote the transformation and upgrading of the regional economy, and enhance the economic radiating capability of Guangzhou and even the Pearl River Delta.

The three major foundations for this foundation were formed by the "troika" of the Qichen Modeling Center, Dongfeng Nissan Advanced Engineering Technology Center and the Corporate University. Among them, the Advanced Engineering Technology Center will become the platform for Dongfeng Nissan's engineering and technology core business, and Kai Chen The modeling center was set up for its own brand, Kai Chen, which was also the first in the industry.
Qichen Modeling Center will undertake the exterior design and color modeling development of the Qichen brand vehicle appearance and interior, as well as the model making and data model making involving the three-dimensional modeling. The Advanced Engineering Technology Center mainly undertakes two core tasks. First, the new car prepares core businesses, including new car synchronization project, prototype development, and early trial production of new cars; second, new production technology development based on advanced manufacturing technologies will focus on green, elasticity and intelligence. Topics such as production and informatization cover areas such as vehicles, engineering, and production. The training target for corporate universities covers various levels of management technicians, senior skilled personnel, distributors, and suppliers, providing a solid team protection for the future development of Dongfeng Nissan.
