The difference between pre-grading, inspection grading and control grading

In the grinding grading process, according to the different functions of the grading operation, it can be divided into three types: pre-grading, inspection grading and control grading.
Before the material is fed into the grinding machine, the classification operation of dividing the qualified fine particles in the raw ore is referred to as pre-grading operation. When the qualified fraction of the ore in the ore mine exceeds 15%, it is advantageous to use the pre-classification operation to avoid the excessive pulverization of this part of the material entering the grinding machine.
The classification operation of separating the coarse fraction (unqualified portion) in the ore discharge of the mill and returning it to the mill for regrind is called inspection and classification. It can control the particle size of the grinding products and meet the particle size requirements of the sorting operation. Sometimes pre-selected grading and inspection grading are combined.
The operation of classifying the overflow of a certain classification operation (generally inspection classification) is called control classification. The purpose is to obtain a finer product. In the selection process, the control grading operation can only be adopted when the final product granularity requirement is very fine.
