Introduction to the report:

The purpose of the test is to conduct a preliminary optional test of the ore to provide a preliminary basis for the possibility of development and utilization of the ore.

The ore-bearing rocks of the ilmenite in Wensu County are immersed diabase porphyrites and basaltic lavas. Titanium containing ore minerals are mainly: rutile, sphene, a small amount of ilmenite, magnetite, titanium; other metal minerals include red limonite, a small amount of pyrite; gangue minerals are: feldspar, quartz, Chlorite, epidote, calcite , dolomite, etc. The ore contains TiO 2 1.68%, TFe 8.36%, S 0.12%, V 2 O 5 0.00%, P 0.22%, and SiO 2 50.76%.

Using magnetic separation - shaker - flotation process test results: iron concentrate iron grade 55.77%, iron recovery rate 3.60%; titanium concentrate TiO 2 11.64%, titanium operation recovery rate 27.79%; shaker concentrate float As a result, the titanium concentrate TiO 2 was 14.13%, and the titanium operation recovery rate was 43.58%.

The ore dressing test sample is divided into No.1 sample, No.2 sample; No.1 sample TiO 2 1.3%, No.2 sample TiO 2 2.25%. No.1 sample No.2 sample is ore-matched in a 1:1 ratio of ore-like TiO 2 1.68%. According to the national requirements for the grade of titanium ore industry, the primary ore rutile contains TiO 2 %, the cut-off grade is ≥ 2%, the industrial grade is ≥ 3~4%, the titano-magnetite contains TiO 2 %, the cut-off grade is ≥ 5~ 6%, and the industrial grade ≥6~8%. The ilmenites in Wensu County, Xinjiang have not reached the cut-off grade and industrial grade. The low grade of raw ore is one of the important reasons for the low index.

According to the study of ore properties, the sample not only has a low grade of ore, but also has a fine grain size. Most of the ilmenite and titanomagnetite have a particle size of <0.02 mm. Conventional grinding fineness is difficult to achieve monomer dissociation. This is the second reason that affects the selection of indicators.

The iron in the ore is not only not high in grade, but more than 90% is red brown iron and iron silicate, which is an important reason that affects the low recovery rate of magnetically selected iron.

No.1 sample not only has a low content of TiO 2 (1.3%), but more seriously, the content of TiO 2 in vermiculite accounts for about 70%, and the ilmenite is almost O. It has been proved by repeated trials and tests that there is no sample No.1. Mining value. Although the No. 2 sample is higher than the No. 1 titanium grade, it still does not reach the industrial grade. In addition to the geographical conditions of No. 2 and the poor traffic conditions, it is suggested that the development and utilization of the titanium ore in this mining area should be carefully considered.
