The pH of the wolframite flotation with oleic acid is similar to that of flotation scheelite , with sodium carbonate as a regulator. The sulphuric acid and nitric acid flotation wolframite are all carried out in an acidic medium, and the slurry adjusting agent used is sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid. Lead nitrate is commonly used as an activator. Gangue flotation of wolframite inhibitors are: sodium fluoride, a mixture of water glass, aluminum sulphate and waterglass (6:1), heavy chromate, hydrogen fluoride sulfuric acid rain. However, the wolframite can be inhibited by a large amount of oxalic acid, sodium fluorosilicate (4 kg/t) and water glass, so the amount of the inhibitor must be strictly controlled.
