[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] On January 23rd, the “High-Sensitivity Handheld Raman Spectrometer Detector Manufacturing” project of the Central University's major university research project hosted by Prof. Liu Jiping of the Institute of Materials Science and Technology of Beijing Institute of Technology passed the final acceptance test. Liu Jiping represented the project team from the project background, project implementation, scientific research and innovation, transformation and application, etc., and gave detailed reports to the participating experts. Fifth-generation Raman Spectrograph Prototype and Its Application
This project was supported by the Central Education Commission of Beijing Municipality in Beijing in 2014 for major research achievement transformation projects in universities. Liu Jiping led the team after nearly four years of technological research and developed a series of hardware and software technologies and equipment with independent intellectual property rights. The developed detector has the advantages of light weight and good portability. It can quickly detect the explosives, colloidal substances, drugs, toxic gases and powders. It can be widely used in important places and major events such as subways, airports, and state agencies. Security check.
By cooperating with Beijing Huatai Nuoan Detection Technology Co., Ltd. to promote the industrialization process, a production assembly line with an annual production capacity of 2,000 sets has been established, which has a broad application prospect. It has provided more than 1,600 Raman spectrometers to the public security and customs frontlines. From August 2016 to the present, the results of the project have been applied to the safety inspection of Beijing Metro Line 4 and completed the 19th and “Belt and Road” summits. The security missions of major events such as the Xiamen BRIC Conference have produced greater social and economic benefits.
