GM Korea recalls Damas and Labo General Motors Korea’s Daewoo Motor Co. recently announced that it will recall more than 8,000 small commercial vehicles due to potential engine problems. The recall included 6,781 Damas and 1,329 Labos. According to the company, it will recall small commercial vehicles powered by liquefied petroleum gas produced between April 1, 2002 and December 6, 2002. Due to problems with the LPG switch, the engines of these vehicles could not be on fire or stop working from time to time, so the company decided to recall these vehicles. Consumers of these vehicles can go to the Daewoo service center for free replacement parts. These models are only sold in South Korea. General Motors Daewoo is the third largest automotive company in Korea and controls 9.7% of the domestic market in South Korea.
