FPSO single point mooring system passed the AIP certification of American Bureau of Shipping for the first time
Dr. Luo Yong, President of Beijing Gaotai Deep Sea Technology Co., Ltd. and 1000-person planner, accepted the AIP of “Deepwater FPSO Internal Turret Single Point Mooring System Design†issued by BILL W.SHI, Vice President of American Bureau of Shipping Greater China. Certification certificate, this is the first time that China's turret single-point mooring system research and development field has obtained the classification society certification, and it is also a major breakthrough for Chinese companies in the FPSO single-point field.
Since the 1970s, nearly 20 FPSOs owned by China National Offshore Oil Corporation have served in major oil fields, and have accumulated rich experience in FPSO operation and management. Compared with other floating platforms, FPSO is more adaptable and less costly, especially suitable for China's sea areas where the pipe network is not developed enough. The upper module, hull and single point system are the three key components of the FPSO. As far as the single point is concerned, its core technology has been monopolized by several foreign single-point companies, and domestic companies have not been able to get involved. It is of great significance to break the monopoly of technology and design and research the FPSO single-point mooring system with independent intellectual property rights and meeting the needs of the South China Sea.
Since its establishment, Beijing Gaotai Deep Sea Technology Co., Ltd. has been committed to the research and development of FPSO single point, and has completed the single point design and transformation of FPSO such as “HYSY 118â€, “HYSY 111â€, “Ende†and “Friendshipâ€. A number of work; independently developed the FPSO single point online monitoring system and has been applied in many FPSO. As the leading enterprise of FPSO single point technology in China, it shoulders the historical mission of FPSO single point localization. It has undertaken research projects of FPSO single point system of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, CNOOC and Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and its research results have filled the domestic single point. A number of gaps in technology have occupied a place in the international single-point field, breaking the monopoly of technology and further accelerating the pace of FPSO single-point localization, which has far-reaching significance for the development of the South China Sea deep-water oil field.
