China Annual Report scrap tires exceed 220 million

On November 21, 2010, according to Liu Zengyuan, deputy secretary-general of the Comprehensive Rubber Utilization Branch of the China Rubber Industry Association, China is the world’s largest tire producer and the largest auto sales market. The production of used tires is also increasing rapidly. In 2009, car tire production in China reached 380 million, of more than 220 million scrap tires. It is of great significance for China to vigorously develop the comprehensive utilization of used tires.
