China's first automatic optical inspection equipment was successfully developed

Langfang Science and Technology Bureau of Hebei Province said on the 26th that the “Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) Equipment Technology” jointly developed by the 45th (Yanjiao) of China Electronic Technology Group and Canada has been successfully developed, and all technical indicators have reached the level of similar foreign equipment. This indicates that China has broken the monopoly of foreign countries in the field of automatic optical inspection equipment and technology blockade, so that automatic optical inspection equipment imported products cut prices by 30%.

According to the staff of the Science and Technology Bureau of Langfang City, the global electronic equipment emphasizes the structure of miniaturization, miniaturization and modularization to meet the requirements of high performance, high reliability, large capacity, and small size and light weight. However, the traditional MVI and ICT testing in our country can not fully adapt to the development of today's manufacturing technology due to the limited contact (limited electrical contact and limited visual contact). At present, China's automatic optical inspection system (AOI) equipment mainly relies on imports and has been monopolized by countries such as Israel, the United States, and Japan. Therefore, the automatic optical inspection system (AOI) has become an inevitable demand for IC manufacturing.

It is understood that in 2007, China Electronics Technology Group 45 successfully passed the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Foreign Experts Bureau, was listed as one of China's "microelectronic equipment international cooperation base", and Canada and international scientific and technological cooperation.

Yang Zhongqiu, director of the Science and Technology Bureau of Langfang City, said that the completion of the project has not only improved the manufacturing level of China's electronic special testing equipment, but also indicated that China has the strength to compete with foreign mainstream equipment in the field of automatic optical inspection equipment.
